Congratulations to one of past athletes – Carly Issac [netball alumni 2014] who competed in the Wycheproof Queen of the Mountain 2023 and won the Queen of the Mountain, Women’s Mountain Dash and the relay.
Carly’s time for the 1km climb was 5:04 minutes, carrying a 25 kg wheat bag. She combined with Georgina Haw, Emma Darker and her older sister Jo Issac to win the relay in a time of 4:02 minutes. Carly is pictured [in the wheelbarrow] with her team.
Carly still plays netball in the north-central league as well as coaching one of the junior teams.
We will look forward to Carly going back-to-back in 2024.
