Congratulations to Kiara Dean who claimed “Gold” in the ISSF World Championship Shotgun in Croatia for the Trap Shoot. Kiara is now the Junior World Champion.
Kiara was in the Bendigo Academy of Sport Clay Target Squad from 2016-2018. As a junior she displayed a level of maturity, dedication and skill set that would enable her to be successful on the world stage.
With the support of the Bendigo Academy of Sport and in particular Glenn Woodhatch [squad coach] Kiara was nurtured and assisted on her path to success.
Kiara comes from a family of clay target shooters with both mum and dad shooting competitively, as does her sister Dekota.
