Hi Everyone,

Update #3 – It has been 6 weeks since we started the isolation process, so I hope everything is going well and you are adjusting to a different way of doing things. At the end of this we will all really appreciate all the little things that we previously took for granted.

To help you stay positive try writing down things that you are grateful for. If you do one “grateful” entry each day – you will be amazed at your list after a few weeks. Share these with your family and it will bring a smile to the faces of others.

COVID-19

On Monday 11th May the Victorian Premier – The Hon. Mr Daniel Andrews MP will make a statement regarding any potential easing of restrictions that may take place.

At this stage we have no indication about how it will look after the 11th so listen to the news on Monday.

S&C FOR ALL SPORTS

Hopefully you have been completing the S&C program that Jess Radford [BAS fitness co-ordinator – Exercise Physiologist] developed a home-based fitness program with video links to demonstrate the various exercises.

Try videoing your S&C session [use time lapse photography on your mobile] and then send it to my mobile [0487 944 642]. I would be interested to see how you are going.

S&C PROGRAM FOR EXTENDED SITTING TIME

The following link will provide you all [and maybe you’re your parents] with some simple but great exercises to do whilst you are working from home and doing more sitting than previously.

Try some of these over the next week and see how you feel.
